Trying to switch to a new laptop
I'm desperately trying to get my new laptop set up during an insanely stressful move, and I am not at all tech savvy. I've somehow forgotten my password for my Firefox account, so I can't simply log in on the new laptop. I also can't reset my password because it would delete all my history and bookmarks!!! That's the whole freaking point! The thought of losing all that literally makes me feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. Is there a way for me to manually transfer over all this data, or any other option which would allow me to to keep/backup+reenter all this data? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Sorry to hear about this. I can understand how the possibility of losing all the history and bookmarks can be so stressful.
A few questions so that SUMO volunteers can help you
- Do you still have access to the original laptop ?
- Is it possible for you to transfer data from the original laptop to the new one ?
Assuming that you have access to the original laptop, can you please try to read up these articles to find the stored data on your previous laptop so that you can restore them on the new one. You still might need the recovery key / password - I will let others who are more knowledgeable to add their comments here.
- Recover important data from an old profile
- Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
- Recover user data missing after Firefox update
I still need to ask this, do you have access to your previous recovery key ? Reset your Mozilla account password with Recovery Keys I've lost my Firefox Sync account information - What to do
