Firefox is fast when using Windows directly. But when using RDP it is very slow. For example, empty new tab takes about 6 seconds to open. The RDP connection is fast and other programs response immediately (e.g. browsing of the same pages in IE is fast). What is the problem with Firefox?

Could it be graphics hardware acceleration??

You probably need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.). On the remote system:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Then restart Firefox. Does that make any difference?
