Since Firefox is not importing all of my IE bookmarks, where is the Firefox bookmarks folder so I can copy and paste them?

When I import bookmarks (favorites) from IE I only get the first 10 or so. I have tried many times after each Firefox update. Still only get 10 or so. I figured I would just copy the IE favorites into the Firefox bookmarks folder, but windows search does not find it. Where is it? Or does Firefox create a special file for bookmarks?

If Firefox is bombing out reading the Windows Favorites folder directly, you can generate an export file from Internet Explorer and then import that into Firefox. Here's how:

(1) For the IE side, see this article, there is an "Export Favorites" topic below the introductory section: Use favorites to save websites you like - Windows Help

(2) In Firefox, then import that file you created from IE using the steps in this article: Import Bookmarks from an HTML file

(3) In Firefox, you can find an Imported Bookmarks folder either on your Bookmarks Menu or under Unsorted Bookmarks, and then move its contents to the preferred location (drag and drop or cut and paste) on the Bookmarks menu/toolbar

Success?

Success after finding one small MS error. The IE article infers that the the drop down menu is in the "Favorites" heading. It is really under the "File" heading.
