Firefox won't let me download and install Privacy Badger
I want to download and install Privacy Badger
But I get "Firefox prevented eff.org from asking you to install software" When I click on ALLOW, I get "the add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on www.eff.org".
Privacy Badger does not show on Firefox adds-ons list

Take up the issue with the eff site or your Service provider. It is not likely to be Firefox issue. I am able to down load the file. I presume it is only the eff site that you have an issue with.
Install at your own risk.
- They have not included it in the official Firefox addons so Firefox (Mozilla) has not checked and approved this as safe.
- It is advertised as a Beta product and so is not fully developed and tested.

- A little known option What happened to Tracking Protection?
- And another option as an addon https://www.mozilla.org//lightbeam/
Gives rather surprising results, if you have no blockers.

Do you know whether that is the same version as the one here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/privacy-badger-firefox/
Some users have reported this connection issue when trying to install the LastPass and Yahoo! toolbar extensions from their respective publishers' sites. Both of those redirect your request to a different address. It doesn't look like https://s.eff.org/files/privacy-badger-latest.xpi is doing that.
Using the URL jscher2000 suggested worked, and John99 provided some useful info. So thanks to both of you.
thanks for your help.
