We have 2 users. Works great for one and not the other. script error when trying to pull down bookmarks.
My wife and I both use firefox. I have no issues at all. On her account you she is having issues with saving and using bookmarks. She clicks on bookmarks and continually gets a long pause, then script error, and then the pull down menu drops down, but you still cannot do anything with it. Click on a bookmark and the pull down closes and that's it. On my side it works perfectly. I have reloaded and updated and still the same....this is driving me nuts...any help is appreciated....

Are you using the same computer or each with their own?
Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
Fred, we are using the same computer. If I log onto Firefox on her account as admin, it works fine, albeit with my bookmarks. I wonder if perhaps there is a problem in her account info that's causing this. Or a registry issue...Did Places Management, no change....

Are you using the same profile on that computer? If you are using different user accounts, one user should not have access to anothers Firefox profile.
Unless you are syncing the profiles.
If I am in her account and I right click the FF icon, it will ask me if I want to log in as admin, which I tried. It opened and ran perfectly, except that it had all of my bookmarks...
Are the two of you opening Firefox using a shortcut, or the taskbar icon?
Shut down Firefox.
If a shortcut, right-click it and select Properties. Now select Compatibility. Turn Off Run This Program In Compatibility Mode, and Run This Program As An Administrator.
Do the same for any Firefox shortcuts you have.
Next, Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86)
Right click on Firefox.exe and select Properties. Now select Compatibility. Turn Off Run This Program In Compatibility Mode, and Run This Program As An Administrator.
