I would like to suggest a new feature for the Thunderbird Android app: the ability to set up a built-in lock using a password, PIN, or biometric authentication.

This feature is already available in other apps, such as the Ente Auth app and the proprietary email app Spark. It adds an additional layer of security for users, ensuring that even if the device is accessed by someone else, sensitive email information remains protected.

I can't find a way to delete a mail folder using the Thunderbird Android mail client. I'm using IMAP to access my mail account, so I'm talking about server side folders, not local ones. I know I can delete them using the desktop version of Thunderbird - but for e.g. a friend of mine that uses mobile devices exclusively for her mails that is not an option. So am I missing something here? Is there any way to delete a folder within Thunderbird Android?

Thunderbird for Android just installed, would love to use this instead of current Outlook client. Long email threads showing as unacceptably indented, down to one letter per line some cases. Occurs TB android but less so Outlook android, and TB desktop. One workaround is to view emails as plain text on TB desktop, they then wrap beautifully. Any plans to allow plain text render on TB android? Or any idea how to view badly indented emails so they fill the pane? Thank you for the good work!

Hi, using thunderbird for Windows, i've add thunderbird for Android on my phone. To avoir manipulations i'd used the QR codes to install accounts.

I wanna now deleted some of them in the application but i don't find how doing that ( as Well i'm looking for finding how i can choose accounts how would be synchronised... ) Can someone help me ? Thanks
