I updated to version 133 today and was confronted with the vertical tab bar. I did not ask for this or want it, and now I can't get rid of the side bar, in fact I seem to have just made it worse / wider. How can I get rid of this (and block it) It is just taling up space on my screen. Please help.

Can you add an option to have the menu bar on top instead of the bottom? I rather have it on top like it used to be, so I would like for there to at least be an option to change it.

I have been using Firefox for my browser and have an account. Yesterday I clicked on the Firefox icon on my taskbar and it just opened with a blank screen. I need all of the information stored on my Firefox account. WHAT HAPPENED?? IT WILL NOT OPEN TO FIREFOX!!

How do I turn this odd feature that dims FF bars when window loses focus? As of look of it only tabbar and toolbar are affected. I couldn't find anything relevant under "about:config". Also some tricks with CSS didn't work for me, maybe because I have custom chromeCSS that brings tabbar under bookmarksbar and applies other customization so that FF window looks like old good FF before they started to put everything on a single line in the bar. During the past week I have been receiving 408 Request Time-out errors on a subscription website our organization uses. The vendor reports no changes to the site and no other customer complaints. All searches I've done point to my local browser or network setup, but I've cleared cache and cookies and it's not my network; I'm currently on vacation and getting the same errors 3000 miles from my home. It has worked fine for the past six months until last week.

I'll have to stop using Firefox if this continues. Please suggest some ideas why this suddenly started occurring and how I might fix it.

I keep experiencing this problem with different websites: Safari works, Firefox doesn't.

I entered valid license numbers (230880, 239798). Firefox displays NOTHING, no error message. Safari displays the relevant info.

Why is this and what should I do if I want to continue using Firefox? Thanks.

Cannot open Analyst links on eTrade website. Looking at a particular stock and clicking on the Analysts link opens another window showing individual analysts and articles relating to their opinions of this stock. I cannot click on either the analyst's name nor the articles associated with their name. eTrade customer service says Firefox is not working well on their site. I tried Microsoft Edge and everything was fine. Is there some feature I should enable on Firefox or is this a shortcoming in Firefox?

I tried to open Firefox and a message appeared: "Couldn't load XPCOM". I uninstalled the program with Revo Uninstaller Pro and downloaded the latest version. I selected Run as Administrator but there is a message that says "Windows cannot have access to the selected device, path or file. Maybe you don't have access rights". However, I do have access rights. I have checked it multiple times. How can I install Firefox and see it work properly? Thanks

Some of the firefox built-in search engines have several comma-separated associated shortcut keywords in Settings/Search/Search shortcuts, e. g.

• @duckduckgo, @ddg for DuckDuckGo

But if I type in several comma-separated shortcuts for any other search engine, none of them will work as expected in the address line. What is the correct way to assign several keywords for the same search engine, like it is already assigned for some default engines?

I have ugpraded to a new macbook (from an intel macbook, this is my first apple silicon macbook - M4 Max). I am having trouble logging in to many of my accounts only when using firefox on my new macbook - eg. soundtoys, spotify - the only way I can get the logins to work is if I run an incognito window to log in. Could you please provide:

1. The exact OMA-URI paths or equivalent policies for these settings? 2. Additional documentation or resources related to Firefox Enterprise policies for Intune?

I have created a new Firefox profile. Now I want to copy my settings of the Developer Tools to this new profile. This should also include the custom device settings for the Responsive Design Mode. Is there a file (or files) in the profile-folder that contains these settings, and can I copy this file (or files) to the new profile? I found this link about copying profile files, but it doesn't mention devtools settings.

Twice now in the past couple of months this has happened to me:

Your windows and tabs will be quickly restored, but private ones will not.

EVEN THOUGH in my Firefox settings this is set to no automatic updates.

What is happening?? How do I turn this off! This seems like a virus? Please advise.

I prefer the tabs be below the bookmark bar, and successfully modified the CSS file to do this some time back. Now update 133 has once again pushed them up below the menu bar. What do I have to do to get them back where I want them this time? And why can't you just leave the tab location preference alone when doing updates?
