Firefox is stuck on a page that literally screams about an invasion of my computer and I must click on a button to get help from microsoft
I got a message saying my security is at risk and I need to contact Microsoft immediately. I am virtually certain that this is a fake because the screen is very low res and the voice message is very poor, grammatically speaking. The problem is that it won't go away. Pressing cancel does no good. It just keeps coming back. The cloe button in the upper right corner doesn't work either. The only way to close it is to go to Task Manager and end task, but then when I open firefox again it's still there.

How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

If it's like the fake FBI/Interpol browser lock page, This add-on can stop such pages; disallow Script Button {web link} The Disallow Script button looks like a letter "M" and the title is the Minus Script, drag and drop the button on a toolbar. If the button is not displayed then nothing operates, except rules for plugins.
