Is 64 bit firefox advanced enough yet to not risk loss of tabs and bookmarks when switching from 32 bit?
I want to update to 64 bit because read that less memory is used. Wanted to wait for at least 1 update the January one not counting the first time 64 bit was implemented so any problems were worked out. Specifically that my tabs and bookmarks will not be lost. I keep open hundreds of tabs for articles I read and exit when done and many bookmarks too so cant lose. Main question is it robust enough yet? No reports from users of losing there stuff? Thanks.

Hi
I have been using a 64bit version of Firefox Developer Edition as my main browser for a while and have not had any problems (health warning - this is pre-release version, unresolved issues may exist).
Best way for you to be sure is to take a backup of your Firefox Profile before moving across. This contains your bookmarks, add-ons and other settings, so should you have a problem when you move, you can easily recover any lost data. You can read more about how to backup up your profile here.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
