I read messages on similar problems.

    I have completely wiped and reloaded firefox 3.6.9, (no plugins, no addons)

    Even in safe mode it crashes randomly.

    I have ran Malware Malbytes, Lavasaoft AV, Mcaffee AV,  Norton AV, Spybot S&D, and AdAware, all have returned negative results.

    I have four computers, three Win 7, and on XP all having the same problem. I have done the about:crashes and noticed varying causes all having  "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

i had to uninstall firefox completely and reinstall it to get it working the right way.. i do this all because firefox is the best

Firefox used to be excellent, over the past year it has become the biggest pile of crap ever imagined. The plug in container....rubbish... It crashes all the time. It's just shit. Firefox used to be the best and now it is basically a massive pile of crap, you should sack all your programmers. You have failed immensely. FELL BAD, VERY BAD. IDIOTS. Everyone I know has uninstalled your pathetic browser. Just don't bother if you can't compete anymore. The best solution now it to use another browser. That is what advice I will give to anyone from now on (being everyone that uses firfox because they all say the same thing) Losers.

I 100% agree! I am a total Firefox die-hard. Have stuck with FF through it all - NONE of my friends still us it, but I do - faithfully - all day, every day.

HOWEVER...

I am sick and tired of all the crap Mozilla has shoved into this formerly-awesome app. It doesn't even work anymore! I tried everything and I AM tech-savvy.

I GIVE UP!

I am UNINSTALLING AND GOING TO (ick) CHROME. It's far faster now. Gawd, I really hate saying that.

Damn it, Mozilla!! PLEEAASE don't make me use Chrome.
