copy 2 folders from Desktop "Bookmark Toolbar" to another PC?

more options

My wife has a desktop and a laptop. She wants to move 2 or 3 folders only, not the whole thing, nor merge ALL the bookmarks. Lets say 2 of the bookmark folders are called "Eyes" and Birds. She wants to copy those 2 folders, with their links inside the folder from her desktop FIREFOX and want to add them to her laptop FIREFOX Bookmarks Toolbar. Add them, not replace any of the bookmarks on the laptop, not overwrite anything else. How do I copy a folder from one FIREFOX running computer and put it on a USB drive to then ADD to the Bookmarks Toolbar on her laptop? I can right click and choose COPY but then when I try to "paste" the "paste" is greyed out.

The simplest way is to copy the contents and paste them into an editor capable of editing html.

I wish to add, that her folders also contain sub-folders that would need to make the copy as well and in the order she originally has. Example: An Essential Asst8 (main folder) sub-folders of "Education" , "Tax" "Friends of AEA" etc and for example in "Education" there may also be a couple of sub-folders as well.

This works;

   Backup your bookmarks
   Delete all the bookmark folders that you do NOT want to be exported to the other computer (in the Library window, you can use the Del key for this purpose)
   Export your bookmarks to HTML
   Restore your backup from Step 1
   On the other computer, import from the HTML file from Step 3
   Done.
