re-build calendar

A recent update completely trashed my calendars. Fortunately they were synced on google, so I can still access them, but I would like to get them back on TB so that I get reminders on my desktop.

But I can't.

Athough the calendars are empty, TB remembers their names and lists them all as disabled. When I tyry to enable and sync them with TbSync, I get an error message which, unhelpfully, I am unable to copy and paste here.

Have tried deleting the entire contents of the calendar-data folder so the TB will be forced to rebuild files, but it still remembers the calendar names.

Basically, I have no calendar data to lose as it is all stored on google, so I just want to clear all calendars on TB so that I can import from google and start again.

Any tips much appreciate.

If you are using tbsync, you will need to ask in the support forum for the addon.

Thunderbird has native support for Google calendars, but obviously not if they are being served up from elsewhere.

You should be able to just use the file menu to select new and then calendar. Follow that up with "on the network. enter your sign in for google (probably your gmail email address) then click find calendars.
