Firefox unable to load any pages. How do I fix this?

The attached error messages (1 and 2) pop up twice whenever I start up Firefox. The home page (set to Mozilla Start Page) is a blank white screen. Attempting to open another page from the startup tab will get it to indicate that the page is loading (hyperlink changed, spinning circle icon) but it never loads.

Opening another page from the next tab yields the same loading icon. It never loads.

Opening a new tab, closing all previous iterations of loading tabs, and then attempting to open a page from the new tab gives the error message again, once.

Restarting in safe mode gives a new location where the breakpoint occurred , but same error message: 0xc703a035. See 3rd picture.

I reinstalled Firefox, and also followed the help pages. Internet Explorer also works on this computer.

May I know if there is any solution, or do I have to switch to another browser? Thanks!

Hi smorele,

Last I remembered, about:crashes did not show anything. If it did, I would have attached the reports.

I downgraded to an earlier version (v 55) and it is working fine now. I rue the day I have to update it again.

Thanks for helping!

FIREFOX WORKS IN Windows Safe mode (with networking) but entirely shuts off normally. Is there any way I could diagnose the problem?

Hi, can you try to tape about:crashes in your URL bar and give us URLs or IDs? These are detailed reports and we will try to find what's wrong.
