how do I enable javascript on Firefox I looked up direction on google which were good but some of the steps they provided were not present on my Mac
my javascript needs to be enabled on my firefox I've looked up well detail instruction on google and some of the step they give I just dont have on my screen why is there a slight difference

The check boxes to enable/disable JavaScript and load images automatically have been removed from "Options > Content".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
