this did not help me ...Still will not work. I guess I need to change browsers if they cant get it right.

Are those extensions compatible with your current Firefox version?

Do you see them in Tools > Add-ons > Extensions (about:addons)?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.

they were working fine all day ... then all of a sudden it stopped working. All i want to do is go back to the older version of FF

What is this addons.sqlite file? Is it a Windows-only file? I do not have one in my profile, and all my add-ons are working just fine. (I use Macs.)

I don't know about Mac, but I see the addons.sqlite file in Linux profiles and also in Windows profiles that run under Wine.
That file stores more data about extensions, probably the content that you see if you click the More button of an extension.

I have extensions.sqlite, but not addons.sqlite.
