Top of page is a searchbar. How do you get to tools in order to do other functions such as clearing history?

Firefox start page has a searchbar at top with tabs underneath. Where are the tools so I can clear history and cache?

You can swipe to see the right-hand toolbar to open the preferences (as shown in the link above), or you can use your Android device's "Menu" button.
