Session Restore, Open in Background Tab and Group Tabs do not work in FF12
Mozilla seem to have blown QA in a big way in with FF 12. I am running Win7 64 bit and upgraded from 11 to 12. My problems: 1) On completing the upgrade and restarting my session was not restored, I just had a blank new tab. 2) Session restore no longer works (even though FF options are set to save sessions) 3) Opening a link in a background tab results in the link being opened in a new tab and all other open tabs being closed. The Group tabs option doesn't. IE absolutely nothing happens when I click on it.

ya. According to your discription i understand ur problem. This problem also seems to me. The problem happens because the upgrading of firefox is not successfull.there must be some installation problem happend. Uninstall the firefox u use and download the new version of firefox. Ur data will also be in the new firefox
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
See:
Been looking at it some more. Seems that the upgrade corrupts your profile, this has happened to me at least once before in updating FireFox.
Simple solution completely uninstall, including all your personal settings. Reinstall and start setting up all your personalization again - you know things like book marks etc.
Actually you can export book marks before you uninstall, but as I use xmarks I did not bother.
<rant> It would be nice if Mozilla were to back up (or suggest you back up) yuour profile prior to installing. However, I have noticed that a large portion of the tech industry treats users as annoyances that should consider themselves lucky to be allowed to use whichever tech product they produce. </rant>
