Who is your email provider?

It's only on my computer with Thunderbird. My iPad receives & sends alright.

When you answer the question we can continue. I will take a wild guess that it is Apple mail.

I answered it. It is thunderbird program. Charter is my provider.

You haven't yet told us, unambiguously, who provides your email service. It may or may not be your ISP (charter) and it may or may not be something linked to your iPad (Apple).

What appears in your email address to the right of the @ symbol? This will probably tell us who your email provider is. I'm guessing it is "charter.net".

Unfortunately, warnings that say your password is wrong often just mean that the settings are wrong and it's not specifically your password at fault. The next step would be to post your Thunderbird settings here.

Go to Help in the main Thunderbird menu. Select Troubleshooting Information. When that opens, clear (untick) the checkbox to include account names. Click the button to copy to the clipboard. Come back here and paste (ctrl+v) into your reply. You can trim off the parts about fonts and printers.

Please show me where it lists your provider in your post. It is assumed that you are using Thunderbird since this is the Thunderbird support page.
