Width of the tabs doesn't stay the same on FF70
The more tabs I open, the narrower they are to fit in window, right? Right.
But it used to work the way that when I close multiple of them, they stayed the same size for a second or so which meant closing multiple of them in a row was much easier (just click in the same place multiple times), right?
Well, it used to (work that way) because it doesn't anymore. Tabs are resizing instantly which is annoying. Here's my question: is there a setting in about:config that got resetted or something or FF70 doesn't have this function anymore? Thanks!

Hi wvs,
You can change the size of the tabs in about:config by editing browser.tabs.tabMinWidth.
I set mine to 225 which seems to keep the same tab size.
Normally this should work as long as the mouse pointer is on the Tab bar. If you move the mouse off the Tab bar then the tabs should automatically snap to close the gap.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Hi wvs, do you recall ever setting up a userChrome.css file with any rules related to tabs?
Yes but they were rules related to shape. More - everything worked fine on previous versions.

Yes, but every now and then Firefox changes and old rules stop working correctly.
Well, the rules about soft corners are working correctly. So what do I need to change in the rules so tabs would work properly again?
Try to figure out whether any of your rules for tabs relate to their width/resizing.
I don't even know what key words to look for, in which file (userChrome or userContent) etc not to mention what to change...
The code for the tab bar would be in userChrome.css with #TabsToolbar as the main selector.
You can post the content of your userChrome.css file or upload to pastebin and post a link.
