"`accountData cannot be set on an Account`"? Why?

I've cleared my browsing history and cookies, restarted my machine, signed out of sync. Turned off all 3rd-party addons. Made sure I was verified.... Only thing left to do is re-install the browser? Help me out, guys. Why me?

I changed to a new email address. The new email address works (gmail). The old email address does not work, still (hotmail).

Did you create a new Firefox account to be used for Sync?
You can't change the email address of a Sync account as that is the user name of the account. You need to remove the current account and create a new account and change the settings on all connected devices to use the new account (disconnect and reconnect).
