After the update I can no longer receive emails. I can send but the IMAP folders no longer update.
I use Thunderbird for 3 email accounts. Both my Gmail accounts still work the IMAP no longer does. I CAN send emails however but when checking for email it "just spins" When sending an email it does complain that Thunderbird is unable to "copy to sent".
No setting have changed, I confirmed the account still works, I can receive emails on my phone, I can lo in to the webmail. Only Thunderbird stopped working and it happened immediately after installing the update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What anti virus do you use? What happens if your disable email scanning in that product.

I use Microsoft security essentials. I tried completely disabling it and it made no difference. I also checked the microsoft firewall settings and Thunderbird is allowed though. But as I mentioned I can send and the other 2 accounts I have work.
