I found this issue as well - as soon as firefox got update to v.3.6.12 I lost "Morning Coffee" icon and its status (in the add-ons list) changed to "disabled".

However nothing is lost! ==> Simply download "Morning Coffee" add-on again and re-install it - all your original settings for the add-on will get back as well.

Tried this a couple of times - still no icon. In fact. looking at my Screendump, there's nowhere at present for it to go. Any ideas?

You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required. See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

But still no Morning Coffee icon.

Have also updated Java plug-in and Flash was already in the most modern version.

Still no luck

I have same issue. uninstalled everything once already and the first time it launches....the icon is there. next log on and forever after its just not showing. Liked the idea alot and it has smart design but i'm at giveup point. Macbook pro-10.6.5 running firefox 3.6.12

I had this issue, and found the solution. Just right click your toolbar, click 'customise', scroll down the icons, find the moring coffee icon and simply drag it onto the toolbar as you would any other button. Hope this helped.
