In the second picture, what happens if you leave the IMAP-servermap box empty, then restart TB? Still no folders?

After switching from windows live-mail to thunderbird, which largely went fine, one problem remains: one of the 4 accounts I have I can't get to work completely. It concerns an old ziggo account created in the early days of Ziggo. It always worked fine in Windows Live Mail (WLM) in the IMAP configuration. Now it does not work with Thunderbird. I can use it to receive and send mail, but I can no longer see the imap folders. I have entered the same settings as in WLM, but that does not work. Has anyone got that working, I can't get it to work. ik gebruik nu: account : <naam>@home.nl server: imap.ziggo.nl poort: 993 verb : SSL/TLS (normaal password) mvgr. Roel
Right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe..., Refresh. Can you check the boxes (subscribe) to the missing folders?
Nee, er veranderd niets.

Hello there again R.D.Alkema.
Maybe it has to do something with the deactivation of your old accounts. Was there a error code? Pop up with some message?

See the attached pictures.
Thanks for your response. But nothing has changed, I did not get any new imap's. See picture

Do you still not see any folders after clicking Vernieuwen (Refresh)? If so, try opening the account in webmail and check the settings there in case you have to allow folders to be visible in IMAP (as one needs to do with e.g. gmail accounts).
Thanks for your idea's, but when I do a weblogin, I see alle imap folders, there are no rights to manipulate.
In the screenshot you will see the weblogin maps
Also I think that there is not the souce of the problem, because I mentioned already that Windows Live Mail program still is showing all the imap folders.
Do you have more idea's to solve the problem? Regards, Roel
From Tools/Account Settings, look at the Synchronization & Storage settings for the account. What do you see when you click the Advanced button? In the Server Settings section, what do you see when you click the Advanced button?
Hi sfhowes,
I am sending the 2 questioned screenshots to you, although I have send de second one earlier already.
In the first picture my gmail imaps are present (although not visible in the picture very long list ;-) but not for the home imaps, so far it is consistent.
Hope this helps

Thank you very much Sfhowes!!
That solved my problem. Strange that this was filled in by default with the 2""
