How can I send/move a tab to another (already exisiting) window?
I'm looking for a quick way to send a tab from one window to another (already existing) window via a keyboard shortcut or the context menu. I know I can drag the tab to the tab bar of the other window, but that is 1) tedious and 2) not working when the other window is on a different virtual desktop (I'm on Linux).
I was hoping I could use tab groups for this job (since there is a 'move to group' option in the right-click context menu of a tab), but sadly (or deliberately) tab groups live within a single window.
Does anyone know of a way of doing this (possibly through an add-on if really necessary)?

addons: move tab existing window

Looks interesting, probably names window based on active tab in that window. The keyboard short "Ctrl+Shift+N" conflicts with Reopen closed Window. The tab context menu looks okay "Join a tab to an existing window"
If you want/need to juggle keyboard shortcuts use the keyconfig extension from Dorando.
Update:
Extension did not work for me, and the reason is the same as someone previously reported in Compatibility Reporter. -- "you can move a tab to a new window, but not move a tab into a already opened window as before"
Was hoping it would work once Firefox 4.0 updated to 5.0 (via Help > About Firefox) , but no such luck, and "Moving a Tab to a New Window" is builtin so the extension does absolutely nothing.
Endret
I had tried this extension, but unfortunately it doesn't work with FF4. It install just fine, but the context menu isn't there and there are no preferences you could change (not even via about:config).
