Since the updates from Firefox 79.0 upwards (up to and including 84.0) some animations, of my children's poems website, no longer run smoothly and round. Up to and with version 79.0 there were no "jerks" even so all ani's ran at the same time. Now I am aware that the code of my website is anything but well efficient or short and sweet. Also my PC with a Windows 7 Ultimate is rather not up to date, but as I said up to and with Firefox 79.0 everything worked fine for me. Also on my smartphones Xiomi Mi MIX 2s (Android 10(lineage_polaris OS)) & BQ Aquaris X (Android 8(lineage_bardock OS)) the same picture, up to 79.0 OK, from then and up to 84.0 no longer. Especially with the flag Ani https://mihalic.ch/index2.html and the Orbit Ani Index.html, as well as the animated menu function description that can be displayed, somehow something no longer works well during rendering.

Auch auf meinen Smartphones Xiomi Mi MIX 2s (Android 10(Lineage_polaris OS))& BQ Aquaris X (Android 8(lineage_bardock OS)) das gleiche Bild, bis 79.0 OK, ab da und bis 84.0 nicht mehr. Vor allem bei der Fahnen Ani index2.html und der Orbit Ani Index.html, sowie der einblendbaren animierten Menü Funktions beschreibung klappt irgendwie beim Rendern zeitlich was nicht mehr gut.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.

A) Turning off the hardware acceleration on Win 7 Firefox helped (it was about the tilt angle of the flag-ani, the rendering of the purple shadow, which did not work smoothly with a -webkit-perspective of 31px; with hardware acceleration turned on (at 0px, which would result in a square, the turned on hardware acceleration did not interfere, because the shadow so probably does not have to move over the whole page)).
I will try the beta or nightly version on the Android smartphones to be able to achieve the same setting in the :config file.
B) As you can see, I already have trouble to keep the distances between the objects correctly (down button & menu functions button seems too close to me on your screen (jonzn4SUSE)). Oh man, how much effort often goes to waste when you don't quite understand what you're trying to arrange....

A) Beim Win 7 Firefox die Hardwarebeschleunigung auszuschalten hat geholfen (es ging um den Neigungswinkel der Fahnen-Ani, das rendern des lila Schattens, was bei einer -webkit-perspective von 31px; mit eingeschalteter Hardwarebeschleunigung nicht flüssig klappte (bei 0px, was ein Quadrat zur Folge hätte, störte die eingeschaltete Hardwarebeschleunigung nicht, da der Schatten so wohl nicht über die ganze Seite wandern muss)).
Werde auf den Android Smartphones die Beta oder Nightly version mal versuchen um ev. in der :config datei die gleiche Einstellung erreichen zu können.
B) Wie man sieht, habe ich ja schon Mühe die Abstände zwischen den Objekten richtig einzuhalten(runter-Button & Menü-Funktionen-Button scheint mir zu nah auf deinem Screen (jonzn4SUSE)).. Oh Mann, wie viel Mühe oft ins leere fliesst, wenn man nicht ganz versteht was man sich da wie anordnet..
