Firefox with adobe flash player
Hi Team,
As a concern,we want to enquire that since our company has its own product which uses Flash technology but its been known now that firefox will not suppport adobe flash player after 2020. So if we save and continue to use an oder version of firefox(with autoupdate off),will it allow to continue usage of Adobe Flash Player after 2020? Please confirm the same or any other workaround so that adobe flash player can be used within firefox after 2020 as well.
Thanks

Yes, it should be able to run Flash. However, keep in mind that you won't receive any security updates and this could potentially put your data at risk.
Note that this is about Adobe stopping updates for the Shockwave Flash plugin, so new disclosed security vulnerabilities for Flash will no longer be patched. Under these conditions Mozilla and other browser can no longer support Flash in Firefox.
Isn't is possible to switch to other solution ? It is known for a few years that this would happen, so there should have been enough time to investigate other options to replace Flash.
Alternatives: HTML5 (canvas,JavaScript), WebGL and WebAssembly
whats in the roadmap for solving the issue of the flash player?

Since Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after December 31th 2020, Flash support will be completely removed from newer consumer versions of Firefox after that date.
If you have other support questions, please open a new one. This way, your question will be seen by more Support Mozilla contributors.
Thank you
