There is no crash reports present in about:crash (for the frequent crashes I am experiencing)

Firefox, Windows, Antivirus(windows in built) etc are updated

Its happening at different websites. And for the same site, sometimes its working fine. Sometimes if I open gmail, sometimes when I log into my bank website etc. No site in particular, but indeed while loading any link/site. Not when idle.

It will go to a 'No responding state'. And then close program and a restart. Then at the same site, it will stuck.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
