What the heck. I download a NEW version of this slow browser and then you guys change the way a new tab opens.

Go to about:config , find browser.newtab.url , then right-click on it select modify and put your homepage or another page you want.

Done. Thank you - and in finality - ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have to enter into a hidden CONFIG area of the code to undo some bad idea a coder had? Bad for me - others may like it - but lets not be socialists about it.
