I am trying to install Firefox. I attempt to download it, tell it to run the setup file, and it seems to be downloading just fine until it comes to the point where it's supposed to bring up the installation wizard. It does not. I 've checked my program files and downloads folder several times to see if I have the setup file anywhere but there is no sign of Firefox on my computer at all.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

I tried to install Firefox

User Agent

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0)

Hello Gracie. Make sure you are downloading the installer from the correct place:

http://getfirefox.com/

Preferably, you should save the installer to a folder you know (instead of simply "running" it from the browser - which will save the installer in a hidden temporary folder). So, save it, go to the folder, start the installer. If you need help, see this support article:

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading and installing files. You can try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work. Do not forget to re-enable the scanning in your anti-virus software after you are finished with downloading and installing.
