Recently upgraded Windows 10, am now receiving runtime error messages while on Firefox, how can I fix this?
I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my laptop and every time I sign on to Firefox and while I'm on Firefox, I get this message: "Runtime Error. C:\Windows\system32\atibtmon.exe. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." I don't have this problem on my PC. I recently refreshed Firefox on the laptop because it was running slow and hanging before upgrading to Windows 10. Could this have something to do with the runtime error. How can I fix this problem? thanks

Are you only having this problem about a repeat action when trying to use the Microsoft fix ? Fred linked to ?
If so try using a Microsoft Browser IE or Edge.

Oooops, I forgot to add the header on the message which reads: Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library. It's annoying even when I was posting my question the little error boxes kept popping up. So please help me if you can.
Atibtmon.exe = Microsoft

See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
This reply was helpful although it took me forever to figure out how to access the command prompt. No bad files were found. Then came the hassle of figuring out what the graphics card is (this is an old notebook). Finally, I went to HP and they stated that there are no new drivers yet for Windows10 & my graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD4200 series). So I will just have to put up with the Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library error. Unless Mincrosoft come up with an update to fix the error. Appreciate you help. Also the error pops up when I turn the computer on, so it isn't just limited to mozilla firefox.
I have been receiving an error message"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier"/ I have cleared the cache ad cookies. I have tried to go via safe mode and disabled the hardware acceleration and still I have this problem, I am running no scripts at all. I have gone into the web cite through the navigation bar rather than a bookmark. Any other suggestions?
