can I create a local folder (i.e. unsynced with mail server) like in the Thunderbird desktop version? I'd like to have a local 'archive' folder.

How can I activate a SPAM filter and SPAM folder in Thunderbird Mobile? Without SPAM protection, using Thunderbird Mobile would be critical.

On my dektop windows 11 I have installed thunderbird , and on this a newsreader who works. On my smartphone samsung s23 android i have installed thunderbird. I exported the account, but the path to my newgroup is missing. How can i istall the newsreader on my smartphone. Thank you for help Friedrich

Hallo, I have installed the "Thunderbird " app on my smartphone as I already have this programme on my PC. Now I want to export the dat, but I get a message described above

I don´t know the password. Can`t I change the password?

I have now entered all possible variations of passwords, but nothing fits. I have signed in to Microsoft, can still access my account, but no longer use it. This password is not accepted either. So I can`t create the QR code.

Hi, i'd love to know If the dark mode for the widget of the android client is in the works. The white theme and the way the widget look its quite outdated and blinding...

TBird for Android, v 8.1 OS 15, IMAP account set to fetch every 30 minutes. I got a normal notification on my phone about a new email. I check mail via Thunderbird on my Windows laptop, and delete the email when done. An hour later, the notification on the phone is still there and when I open the app, the email is still there, then it disappears after a few seconds as TBird checks for mail when the app is opened. The email and notification should have been removed from the phone within 30 minutes per my settings. Screen shot of the relevant settings page included.

Gmail™ sees "[email protected]" and "[email protected]" an the same address. I use both forms but Tbird/Android reports "authentication failed" for the "abcd" variant. When I try to add the other account, rightly android/Google® sees them as the same. ~~~ 0;-} Dan

I have a problem with configuration end-to-end in my thunderbird (android), I installed end configured OpenKeychein, when I want enable end-to-end in thunderbird, I can't select the key, the option is active but after clicking nothing happens.

On Android phone, latest K-9, certain legitimate email addresses are automatically changed to '+1' like a phone number. Tried disabling predictive text and autocorrect - doesn't help. e.g. email [email protected]. Phone is Samsung S24, latest update too. This behavior has been evident for some time.

I have installed thunderbird and OpenKeychain according to the instructions https://support.mozilla.org/pl/kb/openpgp-thunderbird-android-howto When I tap "Configure end-to-end key" nothing is happening. I have tried many times, what can I do? Private key in the OpenKeychain is imported from thunderbird for pc.

I have just installed Thunderbird Free Your Inbox. Installed the desktop accounts via QR code. The signatures options appear to be limited to "text" only, not HTML or JPEG. Is that correct or am I doing something wrong. Thanks

I'm excited to use Thunderbird mobile, but my IT department doesn't have it whitelisted as an approved application to provide OAuth to. I'm preparing a request to add it, but I wanted to first ask here what, if any, information I should provide to my IT department to make it easy for them to approve Thunderbird mobile as an email client. For instance, if there are any kind of IDs that would go into the OAuth backend or documentation that shows that this is the good ol' Thunderbird you know and love (although the codebase is quite different).
