I would like to put the reload button in the menu bar but it is not in the customize page so i can drag it up to the menu bar. It was in the old verson of Firefox now it's gone Harold

Chosen solution

Hi Harold,
Here's how to make this work:
Install the Classic Theme Restorer add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

This will give you an "extra" reload button that you can move into the toolbar. Then if you open the add-ons manager and click the preferences button for this add-on, there is an option to hide the reload button that is in the address bar.

More info about this add-on is here - How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox.

Let me know if you run into any problems.

- Michael

Hi Harold!

The reload button is still there, in the right corner of your URL bar. If you can't see it, can you post a screenshot of your Firefox window?

If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Hi, Harold.

The reload button is now fixed into the address bar itself. You'll see it to the right of the website address (please see attached photo).

Please let us know if that helped.

Hi Michael, thanks for the solution. I started to use it (Classic Theme Restorer). But I think it's a way back solution. I would like to use the new FF look but with the old reload button on left. This is very unsatisfactory from developers if this can't be brought back. If they wanted to be different from Chrome this isn't a right feature to be different... :-(
