My old computer (win7) motherboard died. I have a new computer (win10). I have my hard drive from old computer connected to my new computer using a usb docking apparatus. I am able to access the old hdd in windows explorer. How do I retrieve my bookmarks??? I know its a convoluted, complicated process. I am not finding the folder 'appdata' in the user folder on the old hdd. Not sure why its not a simple copy/paste.

It's not that hard. But you have to know what you are doing.

On the old hard drive, open your file explorer. Locate the profile folder that you want to use.

Open Firefox and create a new blank profile. Copy all of the content from the old folder to the new profile you just set up. If you are asked, overwrite any files.
