Why doesn't it work when I disable protection for mixed content? I see everyone is having the same problem.

I play games on zyngagames.com also facebook (farmville2) and it is driving me nuts that I have to disable everything and reset permissions every time I play. You are blocking images of cows, dogs, etc. and I am truly sick of this problem. What should take an hour a day is taking up to four hours because of this stupid mixed content blocking. I believe we understand the problem but the majority of us also have virus protection to block malicious content and viruses. Please make your permissions work and allow us to set them permanently. It is too much trouble to have to do this every day. The current settings still make the game crash, slow and very difficult to play as it is meant to be played. Sick of this.......

Thank you for resolving this issue as I see a number of others are experiencing the same problem with mixed content blocking on a number of sites. I have the same problem when I use ancestry.com (have to reset permissions, etc).

Firefox's default settings do not block images with HTTP addresses in an HTTPS page. Instead, Firefox changes the icon next to the address bar to alert you that it went ahead and loaded the images even though they had to be retrieved by HTTP.

If you are getting the green lock with the gray triangle notifying you that some content was blocked, something more than images is involved.
