Is very important to me to restore the last 3 days of history of the firefox (to be specific the day Tuesday) because i lost a link that i really need. I have "tick" the selection (clear history when the firefox close) and this is my big problem at the moment. There is no built-in way to recover from deleting Firefox history. History is stored in a SQLite database file, so there might be some forensic database recovery tools to find "deleted" data in such a file. However, if you have used Firefox since you cleared the history, then file contents probably have been overwritten by now.

If you found the link using Google and you were logged in to a Google account and you haven't disabled Google from storing your search history, you might find it there.

If you haven't cleared the disk cache then maybe you can still find traces of those web pages there. You can check the about:cache page. On Windows XP you do not have previous versions of files (shadow copies) that Vista and Windows 7 have, so chances to retrieve that deleted history are not very high.
