Firefox: How do I prevent Google Calendar from stealing focus to its tab?

I use Google Calendar in Firefox. The browser switches to the Google Calendar tab whenever a calendar notification occurs. It is really annoying, to say it in a polite way.

I think that the setting to turn it off is "Switch to this tab" in the page info (I go to calendar.google.com and click on the padlock in the address bar -> "secure connection" -> "more info" -> "permissions" tab -> dropdown with a list of website permissions)

I see this option set to "default". When I change it to "ask me", close the dialog, and re-open it again this option is set again to "default"!!!

What is happening? Any help?

I use Firefox 131.0.3 for Linux Mint and it is managed by my Linux Mint.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

That is possibly the "Switch to this tab" permission that you can find in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions".

"Ask me" is the default setting for this permission, that is why it returns to that setting. Selecting "Allow" would create an allow exception.
