How to SWITCH TO TAB when i enter something in address bar and I have this page opened? When I search my question, I get answers like "how to DISABLE...", but I need to ENABLE this feature. Firefox 122. When I type in Address bar something like "google.com" and I already have opened this site in another tab, I want FF to switch this tab instead open a new tab/window. How can I ENABLE this feature?

Currently I'm using the extension "Dont Open Duplicate Tabs" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/dont-open-duplicate-tabs It works well, but I wish someday the features from this add-on will be implemented in FF.

Do you have enabled Open Tabs in the address bar settings ?

The location bar drop-down list can show history items, bookmarked pages, pages opened in tabs, top sites, and search suggestions. You can set what suggestions show when you enter an URL in the location/address bar bar.

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Address Bar: When using the location bar, suggest:
    Browsing history
    Bookmarks
    Open tabs
    Shortcuts
    Search engines

I have suggestions, But i don't want to select OPENED TAB from list manually, I want it to be force-opened when I input the same URL. Or at least I want hotkey (shortcut) to open url from opened tab and not new one.
