Where is Internet Options so I can open to the same page each time?
when we open firefox, we used to be able to "set" a webpage as the landing page for our day. arbitrarily, this will change. up until very recently, we could go to Tools >> Internet Options and choose to set a landing page. we cannot find this option anymore. so we are stuck with whatever website landing page comes up - currently, that is yahoo.com. any help? thanks, magi

Hello magiv, it is in Tools > Options > General tab > Startup session > When Firefox starts set Show my home page, and in Home page set the page you want for you home page
see for more info : Startup session
see also : How to set the home page
if after you set it correct, firefox cannot keep the changes see : How to fix preferences that won't save
if you can not see the Tools menu then right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip and check Menu Bar in the pop-up menu OR if you see the firefox button(the orange one) up-left in the screen, go from firefox button > Options > CHECK menu bar [V]
thank you
Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you.
To make your new tabs and home page the same, you just have to change them through Firefox, not internet options.
Last but not least: if you installed a Yahoo add-on, the add-on may override the built-in settings.
You can check your extensions on the following tab, and try the Options button for the ones that seem Yahoo-related. If you can't tame them, disable or remove them.
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
