Why does the Firefox Support Home page load when I open firefox? I am on Dial-Up and have my home page set for Yahoo.com. Both Firefox Support Home page and Yahoo.com pages load at the same time. It takes too much time. I have already read the support home page and do not need it every time I load Firefox. How do I stop it from loading every time?

Bring up about:config and filter support.mozilla.com (if that is the page you actually bring up) to see where it is coming from. Also check that you have only one homepage in Tools > General and that you are not bringing up the previous session, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page

If you have a very narrow tab then that is a pinned app-tab. You can unpin an app-tab by right-clicking on the tab and choosing "unpin tab".

Problem solved. Thank you. This has been bugging me for 6 months or more. I didn't know that ABOUT:CONFIG existed. Again, thank you. Gpa3006
