Unable to create / modify saved search folders in TB 78.12 64-bit
I'm trying to create a saved search folder under my Local Folders but I am running into various issues with it. To start with, I created a saved search folder and named it simply "Search". It showed up fine under Local Folders and it functioned normally. When I exited TB and relaunched, the folder had vanished. I tried re-creating it but it didn't even show up this time. I was able to successfully create a folder called "Search 2" and that worked fine as well until I restarted TB.
Just to make sure I wasn't creating a name that I had used before and forgotten about, I created a saved search folder called "Search 10" and that seemed to stick around fine. I tried renaming it to "Search" or "Search 2" but it gave me the error, "The folder could not be renamed. Perhaps the folder is being reparsed, or the new name is not a valid folder name."
Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks!

Try resetting the file that stores saved searches: Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, delete or rename virtualFolders.dat. See if saved searches then operate as expected.
That didn't seem to work, it still behaved as before even after deleting that file. But oddly enough what DID work is I deleted the "Search 10" folder I created, then re-created "Search" from scratch and so far it's been working fine.
Edit - and it vanished again. What the heck.
