re: "550 5.7.1" your email may contain spam Is that the exact full message, word for word ?
Something in the email is causing your sent emails to get flagged by the server's anti-spam mechanism.
The first thing to test is your signature - assuming you are using one. Remove the signature and try sending an email. Does it send ok?
Do you use a signature? How did you create it ? Did you use Thunderbird to create a html file or another program like MSWord ? Does signature contain links and/or images?
Hi Toad-hall
thanks for getting back, this 550 5.7.1 error is causing me lots of problems
the full error message is:
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 550 5.7.1 06P8fE0A003411 This message has been blocked for containing SPAM-like characteristics.. Please check the message and try again.
I have gone over my email details ,password, user name, ect many time there does not seem to be any problem with them. I have also done a blacklist chq, again no problem ?
I can send emails to my partner on the same domain, and to my domain supplier easily .com, but not any outside emails to lots of different email addressers all get error
Thank You Barry
Hi Toad-Hall
Note.
I do not use a signature of any type or any html files

What server settings are you using when sending from that account? In Thunderbird Help > Troubleshooting Information Scroll down to 'Mail and News Accounts' Copy all the info and post it into this forum. Tell me the account number of problem account.
