Problem with outbox migration
After installing Thunderbird I found it imported all my folders from my Eudora setup, except that the outbox folder is totally empty. Where are all my sent messages from my Eudora setup? Is it correct that Thunderbird does not have the same way of handling sent mail as does Eudora? If so I cannot see how to use Thunderbird.

'Outbox' folder, located in 'Local Folders' account is a special folder designed to hold unsent messages which are ready to send.
File > Send Later will put the email in the Outbox. Or If you are in 'offline' mode then you will only be offered 'Send Later'.
You can choose to send messages in Outbox. right click on Outbox folder and select 'Send unsent messages'

Where do all the sent messages go?
How can I import all the emails in my Eudora outbox into Thunderbird?
Where would they go?
It is essential that I have copies of all the emails that I sent, in a folder that is easy to access. I often use the "send again" feature in Eudora, editing the before-sent email to add other information, or create a new reply. This would not be so easy if the emails were not readily available.

If you have a POP mail account then the 'Sent' folder will appear when you send your first email.
If IMAP then you need to subscribe to see the Sent folder on the server.
