I can't figure out how to change where pictures downloaded from email are saved. None of the instructions work including how to set mozilla as my homepage. Prior to a week ago, all photos were saved to "My Pictures" folder, now I can't find where they are saved to. Going to Tools-Options on my home page does not show any option to change where photos are saved. Thanks

Thanks but I have tried this route with no success. I cannot find the Firefox Options window. When I go to tools-options, I get a completely different window that does not have the same options as the Firefox window.

Don't you see the default Download settings in "Tools > Options > General"?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

In current Firefox releases the last used directory for the website (host) serving the file for download will be preselected in the file picker. If no download directory for the current website (host) has been stored, browser.download.lastDir will be used.
