Hotmail links not working
With upgrade from Firefox 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 all hotmail links will not open. The hotmail webpage seems to load correctly and shows all emails in the inbox but then no links on the webpage work. Therefore cannot open any emails.
Therefore have to open Internet Explorer to read emails.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks Cor-el! Per your instructions I entered Safe-mode and Hotmail worked fine. Then I re-enabled half the Add-ons and eventually traced my problem down to my Add-on WindowShopper 1.2.0.13 A quick restart after disabling it fixed the problem. Thanks!
As per the Cor-el instructions I entered Safe-mode and Hotmail still did not work. I then reset the user preferences to Firefox defaults and Hotmail still did not work.
I then Uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with a fresh download of the software from CNET. Hotmail still does not work. It will not open any links in my inbox page.
It must have been the Firefox update from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 that has caused it to stop working properly on my Windows XP system. Before the autoupdate from the previous version Hotmail was working fine.
Any other Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
I have the same trouble after upgrading to Firefox 11 with the peculiarity that IExplorer stopped working properly with Hotmail, too. The safe-mode did not help, neither the relaxing of overall system internet options
Massively struggled with this problem for past few hours. Solved for me eventually by disabling all my plug ins. This sorted it, then reenabled them and all fine. Important not to exit Firefox til done all the above or the plug ins seem to be reenabled automatically.
Unfortunately my issue soon returned but after further research I have resolved the problem. The issue was with Foxit Reader plug in 2.2.... See http://forums.foxitsoftware.com/showthread.php?16031-The-Latest-Foxit-Reader-conflict-with-Hotmail for details and fix.
Here was my post I've had this issue today. Took 3 hours to realise Foxit Plug in was to blame and then fix. Actually the issue is with the plug in that is/was installed with new Foxit 5.140104 which is plug in 2.2 or something like that. To fix it I reinstalled Foxit Reader (still 5.140104) without adding the plug in, then after installing added the plug in 2.1.1.720 which is the default download off the website currently. Possibly even if I had installed it today with the plug in, Foxit may have removed the 2.2 plug in thus ensuring compatibility; either way the newest Foxit reader 5.140104 with plug in 2.1.1.720 sorts out the issue with Hotmail.
Hope this helps!
