When I download something it does not show up in the download box even though the download is complete. I have clicked the "ask me where to download the file" but the pop up is still blank.

When I download something from Firefox the download window does pop up & does show the status of the download, but once the download is complete & the pop up on the bottom of the screen says all downloads are complete, the download no longer appears in the pop up (prior to getting my new computer the file would be in the download window & I could click on it to open the file, not I have to open windows explorer & find the file to open it).

How do I correc this? I have already tried clicking the box that says "ask me where to download the file to", I have also tried specifing the download location, but neither solution works.

Thank you for your assistance jms101
