Thunderbird will not save my sent messages.

Keep getting error msg "message could not be saved...Retry or Cancel. I retry but it doesn't save it and I get the same error message again. Just started today.

I assume you're trying to save it to an IMAP folder synchronised with the server? To verify that, go to Account Settings > Copies & Folders and temporarily set it to place a copy in a local folder. Does it work OK now? If so, the problem is with the 'sent' folder on the server. Is it full, perhaps?

It is working fine now. Thunderbird updated and apparently that fixed whatever the problem was. But thanks for the info.
