I have one question that to my knowledge hadn't been answered properly.

Can I arrange my email by: 1st - Sort by groups (e.g. yesterday, two weeks ago) and then by 2nd - thread/Conversations

This is possible in Outlook. But I want to use Thunderbird.

I think threaded views and sort by are mutually exclusive.
