Firefox with google search loads very slowly windows 11

I have firefox installed using google search. After the latest update searching is extremely slow. This is a windows 11 machine. I have cleared cache, cleared browsing… (gụkwuo)

I have firefox installed using google search. After the latest update searching is extremely slow. This is a windows 11 machine. I have cleared cache, cleared browsing history, turned off add blocked and some extensions and add ons. Response time on opening search results is extremely slow. Other search engines respond immediately.

What is the "startup cache"?

The Help is recommending clearing the startup cache, but I don't know what that is so I can't decide if it's something I want to do. Is it the same place that stores all… (gụkwuo)

The Help is recommending clearing the startup cache, but I don't know what that is so I can't decide if it's something I want to do. Is it the same place that stores all my cookies and other saved material, or is it something different? If it's different, what does it store and why would clearing it be useful?

Hi I browsed some time back in Spotify, then I didn't select it and deleted. BUT every time now that I want to open Paypal.com in my firefox browser it opens a Spotify page. Can you pls help with this issue? Thanks
