Is the option Clear history when Firefox closes enabled in Tools > Options > Privacy? Also please see if the Keep until just above that is enabled.

If you are not on Windows then instead of Tools > Options use:

• Linux: Edit > Preferences
• Mac: Firefox > Preferences
• Windows: Firefox > Options or Tools > Options

Press F10 if the menu bar is hidden on Windows and Linux

Please try this:

If Clear history when Firefox closes is enabled click Settings on the right and uncheck (deselect) Cookies, Active Logins and Site Preferences.

Also at the Privacy tab click Show Cookies... search for the site name (site.com) at the top, click the + below, select the cookie name, look for the value Expires. It could be that the particular site has timed expiry.

Checked the above still having the same problem. Its been about a week since its been doing this and will do it randomly

It maybe that the site has started signing out users after a set time frame, or there could be a new setting in the site settings for that.

Am having the issue on everything really logs me out on whichever site i have bookmarked or logged into

Can you create a new profile and see if this repeats? More about profiles here.

ie. firefox -ProfileManager -no-remote > Create Profile > Next > Finish and choose the newly created profile name from the list.

Please do not change any settings (let everything in Tools > Options be as it is) or install any add-ons (extensions) in this profile. After creating the profile, try a problematic site, exit that profile and restart (firefox -ProfileManager -no-remote and choose)

I\ve tried everything on this page and everything on mozilla support site and nothing helped. I've created the new profile, cleared the cash, deleted the cookies.sqlite, I've even installed the new fresh version of firefox portable, and absolutely won't help.

Firefox keeps logging me out in the middle of the browsing. I don't need to close the firefox at all. I've made also the exception for many sites, and the cookies are still in "show all cookies", but I am logged out. I've just tried with this last option, you've mentioned here, and all my cookies has the expiration date on 2014 or 2015. And still nothing.

I really don't know what to do. :(

p.s. I wouldn't mind so much about this problem, because I am using lastpass add ons, and I can easily log on the sites, but on few sites is necessary to stay logged in while uploading the files, because that's the only option if I want my files to be in particular folders and in my account either. For example, on the site videobin.org, I need to open certain bin, and to upload the video in that bin if I want such, and if firefox logging me out, the video will be uploaded like I am anonymous user and it won't belong to my profile.
