Every time I start up FireFox I get an "Unresponsive Script" message, is there any way to fix this as it's slowing down everything

Here's the message I get:

"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/nsBrowserContentHandler.js:291"

I've tried deleting firefox and re-downloading and installing it but it's no help.

I have emailed constantly about this...it happens multiple time a day. And I have heard nothing back. And uninstalling Flash and Firefox and reinstalling manually did nothing. Here's my #3,184 crash info:

[?@ nsFrameManager::?ReResolveStyleContext?(nsPresContext*, nsIFrame*, nsIContent*, nsStyleChangeList*, nsChangeHint, int)‎ ].

If this doesn't get fixed real soon I am going to Opera. Ever since I did the last three Mozilla updates and the adobe and flash player updates (which don't work) I have had nothing but problems. Every time it crashes it sends a report so what is going on with support? This is going on 2 months now.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
